Tarot readings have become a popular tool used by psychics across the globe. These tarot readings are both entertaining and insightful, and can be used to help you get through those “cloudy” moments in your life.
If you decide to take part in tarot readings, or you want to do them yourself, you will need to know two of the most basic card spreads that can be done.
The first is done with a single card, and works best for gaining insight into a single question. You simply shuffle the cards while thinking of your question, then when you are ready, you then intuitively pick out one card and flip it over. The revealed card will provide the answer to your question.
The next spread is done with three cards. Shuffle the deck of tarot cards while thinking of your question. Then using your left hand, you need to cut the deck three times so that you end up with three piles. These piles need to be placed to the left in order. They represent the past, present, and future, or the situation, development, and result.
Now, using your left hand pick up the pile to your right and set it on the middle pile, then pick up those two piles and place it on the last one. Once that is done, turn over the first card and place it to the left (represents the past or the situation), turn over another and place it to the right of the first card (represents the present or the development), then turn over the final card and place it beside the middle card (represents the future or the result.) This spread will reveal the answer to your question.
Once you have an understanding of the card meanings, and are able to do the basic spreads, you will have a lot more fun taking part in tarot readings.
